Learning with leaves

So, since I have a new camera (thanks Mom & Rustin), I've been trying to learn how to use it.  It is a rather complex machine so it's going to take a while.  I really wanted to take some pictures of some fall leaves so I grabbed it and headed over to the church and found a tree to take some pictures of.  If you have any comments or suggestions, I welcome them.  Thanks and Happy Fall!

Octoberfest: Cannon Style

Happy October Everyone!
We had a special treat this October because Carole and the Snyders were in town...which could only mean one thing...LOTS OF EATING!  So, where did we eat, you ask?  Well, here are some pictures to help you along.

Of course, an old staple when the Snyders are in town...Coachmans and Swedish Pancakes...YUMMM!

And you know an iPhone party would be inevitable.  What a bunch of tech geeks!  They really do run in packs, I guess.

For the next great eating trip, we had the classic Janet Cannon Turkey Dinner in the canyon.  It was delicious!  Barkely especially loved it.  He was so excited he couldn't sit still for even one second.  And he sure got lots of treats!  I am still learning how to use my fancy new camera so some of these pictures are not the best.  It was especially hard to take pictures with Clark and Rick always poking fingers full of food right into my view.  Those little SNEAKS!

Check out my other blog for more photos and fun stuff on the Snyder's visit.

Trip to Bear Lake

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to my new blog.  I thought I'd start a blog that I can update from anywhere and see if it makes me a better blogger.  It probably won't.  Anyway, I wanted to share with you guys some pictures of my trip to Bear Lake last weekend.  Rustin has some friends that invited us to go up with them, which was very nice.  We started with a boat ride around the lake.

It was the first time I got to ride my very own 4-wheeler and it was so fun.  I've always wanted to do that.  And the trees were just changing colors.  It was beautiful.

It was really fun and Rustin was as happy as a 5-year old on Christmas Eve.  He cracks me up.  Anyway we were really dirty and dusty but it was so much fun and so beautiful up there.  I'm sure we'll have many more 4-wheeling adventures to come.
